A sinuous gravel path leads from the Millboard composite deck and painted timber pergola, through an eclectic mix of planting to a smaller morning terrace and ceramics studio. A raised pond made from a 1.2 metre wide concrete pipe creates habitat for aquatic life and a small fountain of water masks the external sounds.
